Everyone is talking about “le Haut Marais” in Paris – the center of creativity and style in Paris, and home to Paris Fashion Week four times a year. The apartment is located on a quiet part of rue Charlot yet steps away from the rue Charlot/rue de Bretagne center of the neighborhood. All the the best boutiques, galleries and restaurants are located around this center point.

Recently renovated to the highest standards, the apartment has been designed for maximum comfort and relaxation. The look is modern and open with special touches including exposed beams, solid oak parquet floors and antique wooden doors.

COMFORT
You will be met by our professional concierge who will explain everything about the apartment and ensure you have everything you need throughout your stay.
The elevator will take you and your luggage to the 2nd floor with ease. As you enter the apartment you look across the open kitchen and on to the spacious living room on your left.
Behind the fully equipped “cook’s kitchen” is the dining room and double foldaway bed conveniently tucked in the corner. There is room to create a double bed or two single beds. This room can be closed off completely to make a private 2nd bedroom with our solid sliding door. The open plan means that light permeates the space. The separate bedroom has a new queen sized bed and adjoining bathroom with walk-in Italian tiled shower and double sinks. There is plenty of closet space and drawers to unpack your things.

HISTORY AND ART
The Marais is one of the oldest areas of the city and is full of historical sites and architecture. It is a very safe at all hours and has the added advantage of shops being open on Sundays which is rare. We are only 4 minutes walk from the Picasso Musuem, a must see. The newly renovated Carreau de Temple is just around the corner and a center for art, music, theatre and food events.
Be sure to visit the Marché des Enfants Rouges, just next door. It’s the oldest covered market in Paris and has a large selection of stands selling organic fruits and vegetables, wines, fish, meats, pastries, and delicious cuisine from around the world. There are also ten open air restaurants in the market offering cuisine from around the world.

FOODING
If you like to cook, you won’t be able to resist our fully equipped kitchen to prepare dinner, especially after visiting the Marché des Enfants Rouges and the multiple artisanal food shops on rue Charlot and rue de Bretagne. It's impossible to pass the cheese shop on the corner without picking some up! There are five quality “cavistes” within 2 minutes of our apartment, all happy to receive you for wine tasting and recommend exactly the right bottle for your meal.
If you prefer to dine out, we’ve left you reviews lovingly compiled over the years on a range of amazing restaurants in the area and all over Paris.

SHOPPING
We are in the heart of the fashion and design district with many independent boutiques, vintage shops and well known houses. The best people watching in the world happens in January, March, June and September when the fashion world takes over the Haut Marais for Fashion Week.

QUIET
Solid double paned windows means a quiet night’s sleep. You’ll wake up refreshed and ready to discover the endless charm of Paris again.
